Our stories are rich and life-changing: from the camper who was scared to go to Vespers because it was too dark, who soon discovered that Vespers was the place she felt God holding her hand most tightly; to the camper who went home from camp much more aware of the trees and birds in their own backyard; and also the staff member who found a place where he wasn’t judged and laughed at for his appearance and his crazy energy.
At camp, a community is what we are. It is how we started and it is how we continue to be. It is an important part of our story. Camp Bimini invites you to be part of this community that helps provide an enjoyable Christian camping experience for all who attend. Here are your opportunities (contact the camp for more details):
Here are some ways you can help with your financial donations:
GIFT OF CAMP
This is the gift of camp for a child. The cost of a week of camp is a challenge for some families. Donations to this fund will help children attend camp whose family cannot pay the registration fee. In 2019, we were able to help dozens of families and many children received the gift of a week of camp.
GENERAL (PROGRAM AND CAPITAL)
Financial gifts to our general fund support our program and capital projects. This would help offset the cost of healthy food, caring staff, craft and other program supplies, pool expenses, capital projects around the camp and more, so that the cost of running a camp does not solely fall to our campers. Donations will help upgrade the facilities and prepare for future generations of camping.
There are many possibilities. If you would like to make a financial donation to Camp Bimini, we invite you to download and complete the form.
OR donate now online by credit card!
We appreciate every donation of every size. Together all our gifts will make a difference.
We invite you to come and help out at camp by raking, painting, cleaning, building, planting and more. Our camp clean-up day (fourth Saturday in April usually) is a great day to help get Camp Bimini ready for our camp season. There is always a need for your helping hands to complete various projects which helps keep Camp Bimini at its best.
If you have a team of people from the church, neighbourhood, family, or if you alone would like to become hands-on with the maintenance and development of Camp Bimini, we would love to welcome you.
We also accept donations for our wish list. This gives you the opportunity to help with some needed items for our program, especially craft supplies.
Join our Board
Camp Bimini is operated by the Camp Bimini Board. Our board members are hard-working, dedicated volunteers who absolutely love camp and all it does for our children, youth and families. The Board meets monthly to envision, plan, organize, and support the work of the camp. If you are interested in sitting on the Camp Bimini Board, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Pray for us. Pray for patience, gentleness and adventure for our staff. Pray for our energetic campers. Pray for wisdom and faith for our board.
